SAMARITAINE

Outside La Samaritaine, Paris seems to hesitate between memory and movement. Cars stretch out their lights, silhouettes dissolve behind the glass, while a woman remains motionless, absorbed by her screen. Beneath the illuminated sign, she becomes the fixed point of a city crossed by ghosts, suspended between the rediscovered elegance of the past and the ceaseless bustle of the present, as though almost alien to both.

Old Souls from the film INCEPTION

0:000:00

Old Souls envelops the scene in a muted melancholy. Hans Zimmer’s layers seem to bring buried memories back to the surface beneath the modernity of the setting. The music transforms La Samaritaine into a threshold between two eras, while the motionless woman seems, unknowingly, to be listening to the old souls passing through Paris.
