In Istanbul, a porter pushes his loaded hand truck beneath a statue bent under sacks. Between them, the living gesture answers the neighbourhood’s memory, while a shop window promises an unattainable lightness. Loads brings together labour, heritage and commerce, but the man’s smile lightens the scene: even under the weight, the city keeps moving forward with humour and dignity.
