FLAMMES

In the Tuileries Garden, the Olympic cauldron rises beneath its balloon, an immense light suspended in the Parisian sky. Below, almost invisible, the real flame keeps watch in its cube. Flammes plays on this contrast between spectacle and intimacy, symbol and reality. Two fires answer one another: one offered to the city, the other a discreet guardian of a historic moment in Paris 2024.

JEROME REBOTIER

Edmond et Mercédès from the film THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO

0:000:00

Edmond et Mercédès, by Jérôme Rebotier, accompanies the image with a broad, timeless gentleness. The strings seem to carry the cauldron in its ascent, between emotion, memory and light. Taken from The Count of Monte Cristo, the music lends this Olympic moment the gravity of a collective memory already firmly embedded in history.
