CAUGHT IN THE SHADOW

In the doorway of a Parisian building, a young woman stands at the boundary between two kinds of light. Her face emerges from the shadow while her body remains almost absorbed by the architecture. Focused on her phone, she seems sheltered from the bustle outside. Caught in the Shadow captures this temporary refuge, where shadow becomes at once a retreat, a setting and an intimate inner territory.

Caught in the Shadow unfolds with a restrained softness, far removed from the combative energy of Creed. Ludwig Göransson’s strings and piano accompany the woman without breaking the silence. The music gives the shadow a protective warmth, as though this moment of retreat allowed the bustle to disappear for a few seconds.
