In Meudon, snow muffles the noise and transforms a graffiti-covered alleyway into a suspended scene. Beneath the streetlamp, snowflakes sparkle before disappearing, while urban traces endure on the stone. Snowy Tag brings together two ephemeral forms of writing: that of people on the walls, and that of winter gently covering the city for the duration of a silent night.

The Gift by Jerry Goldsmith wraps the scene in a strange, almost childlike softness, tinged with a slight unease. As in Gremlins, the magic of Christmas conceals the possibility of a sudden shift. The music makes the snowflakes shimmer, yet leaves behind each note the feeling that a secret might emerge from the shadows, suddenly and without warning.
