LEVITATION

Meudon, France

April 2024

Beneath the boughs of an imposing tree, a dancer seems to tear himself away from the ground. His body forms an impossible arc, suspended between falling and flight, power and surrender. Yet the cap, ordinary clothes and bare platform keep the scene grounded in reality. Levitation transforms an acrobatic figure into a moment of grace, where effort vanishes behind the illusion for the space of a breath.

Blood of My Blood gives this movement a heroic dimension. Ramin Djawadi’s strings and percussion lift the figure like a challenge to gravity. The music heightens the body’s tension, then transforms the acrobatics into a gesture of conquest, suspended between strength and a yearning for the sky.
