I LOVE(D) YOU

In front of a marble wall scratched with graffiti, two figures walk one behind the other. She leads the way, determined; he follows, slightly hunched, as though resigned to an endless stroll. The black drawing seems to express his unspoken thoughts. I Love(d) You turns an ordinary scene of a couple into a tender comedy about love, weariness and the complicity of everyday life shared together.

Married Life accompanies this walk with its bittersweet lightness. Michael Giacchino’s piano tells of the impulses, habits and small wearinesses of life as a couple. By turns tender and mischievous, the music reminds us that love is also built through those tiny adventures we continue together.
