Buying guide: choosing your photographic art print
Choose an artwork, an edition, a presence
Collecting a photograph means more than choosing an image. Find the one that moves you, then consider how it will become part of your interior.
Every street.photo photograph is available in three editions, each offering a different experience of the artwork.
1. Choose the photograph
Start with the image that instinctively draws you in.
Black and white or colour, a solitary figure, a graphic composition or a lively scene: an artwork should evoke emotion and continue to engage you over time.
Browse photographs by collection, country or visual world. Each artwork also has a Capsule pairing the photograph with film music. Listen to it: it may reveal another dimension of the image and help you choose.
2. Choose your edition
FINE ART — 40 × 60 cm
An art print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper, known for its matt surface, delicate texture and rich tonal range.
This edition offers an intimate, sensitive experience of the photograph. It suits smaller spaces, gallery walls or a first acquisition.
An optional aluminium frame is available in several finishes, with mineral or acrylic glazing.
GALERIE — 60 × 90 cm
A Fine Art print under matt acrylic, mounted on aluminium and delivered ready to hang.
This versatile format gives the image greater presence while maintaining a balance suited to most living rooms, offices and reception spaces.
An optional wooden floating frame can enhance its depth and graphic character.
MONUMENTAL — 100 × 150 cm
A made-to-order collector’s piece that gives the photograph a spectacular presence.
Finished under matt acrylic, mounted on aluminium and ready to hang, this edition is designed for large walls, generous interiors and professional spaces.
A bespoke floating frame can accentuate its sculptural quality.
3. Match the format to your space
The size of the artwork should be proportionate to the wall and surrounding furniture.
Fine Art fits easily into an intimate space or a grouping of frames.
Galerie is the most versatile choice, particularly above a sofa, sideboard or desk.
Monumental is designed to become a room’s focal point. It needs sufficient viewing distance and space around it to express its full impact.
When choosing between two sizes, the larger one will generally create a more balanced composition on an uncluttered wall.
4. Choose the frame
The Fine Art aluminium frame comes in black, silver or an oak finish. Acrylic glazing is recommended for shipping, while mineral glass is better suited to studio collection.
Galerie and Monumental can be fitted with a wooden floating frame in black, white or light oak. The space around the print creates a floating effect and enhances the artwork’s presence.
Frames are made to measure and must be ordered together with the print.
5. Limited and authenticated editions
Each photograph is limited to just 30 prints across all formats and finishes.
Each print is:
- signed by the artist;
- numbered;
- protected by a security hologram;
- accompanied by a certificate of authenticity secured with an NFC chip.
The shared limit across all three editions ensures the artwork’s rarity, whatever format you choose.
6. Production and delivery
Each artwork is produced especially after ordering.
Production and dispatch take 5 working days for Fine Art and 15 working days for Galerie and Monumental. Delivery time is additional and depends on the carrier.
As formats, finishes and frames are made to order, please check your selection carefully before confirming.
