EIFFEL TOWER GHOSTS

At Trocadéro, the Eiffel Tower fades into the mist as passers-by become faceless silhouettes. The long exposure dissolves bodies, blurs boundaries and transforms Paris into a spectral territory. Monument and travellers seem to share the same fragility: one vanishes into the sky, the others into movement, as though the city were dreaming its own ghosts.

Foils from the film TENET

0:000:00

In Foils, Ludwig Göransson makes time an unstable material. Deep pulses, reversed breaths and electronic tensions accompany the silhouettes crossing the image. The music seems to move forwards and backwards at once, turning Trocadéro into a passage between two worlds, where the Eiffel Tower itself hesitates endlessly between appearance and disappearance.
