DREAM BIG

Arachova, Greece

April 2024

In Arachova, two men occupy a terrace as if time had slowed down. While one looks at his phone, the other stares into the lens. In front of him, a cup bears the words “Dream Big”, an almost ironic injunction in this modest setting. Yet the dream is there: in the light, the waiting, the simple gestures and this way of fully inhabiting the moment, without seeking more elsewhere, in the silence of the village.

ANGELO BADALAMENTI

Alurens Walking from the film THE STRAIGHT STORY

0:000:00

Laurens Walking moves forward with the stubborn gentleness of an inner journey. Angelo Badalamenti’s guitar and strings accompany the scene without rushing it, lending everyday life an almost initiatory dimension. The music reminds us that dreaming big does not necessarily mean going far away, but continuing onwards, humbly, at one’s own pace.
